On set with Sockeye Films
I came on the help out Sockeye films for their second day of shooting during a commercial shoot on location in Portland. I got to AC for an amazing director of photography (DP) Tom Grissom, and did grip work for the well known gaffer Scotty, all under the direction of Jame Westby. We changed locations 4 or 5 times in less than 8 hrs. I couldn’t believe how fast this crew worked, and they produced a really amazing and funny spot. I also shot some stills on the production that Sockeye might use for their print ads to accompany the T.V. spots. Here are a few behind the scenes photos, including shots of Director James having some fun with the actors.
